From July-September, we’ll be working alongside community members living in encampments to bear witness to grief and loss, and spark some healing moments. We hope to open-up space for care and creativity.

To do that, we want to offer physical space for reflection, co-creation, and maybe even enjoying some ice-cream.

Think: interactive pop-up art gallery meets chill zone meets ice-cream stand?!

As the Builder/Exhbition Maker, you will:

1. Work with the Soloss team to sketch out concepts: for a portable, outdoor space to engage with art, prompt peaceful reflection & enjoy something yummy!

2. Look for relevant inspiration

3. Source affordable materials

4. Construct the space & any other objects in such a way that it can be assembled and taken down by two people, and stored in a car

This is a short-term contract role:

We estimate about 35 hours of work over July

$30/hour + material costs
