Details

  • A Circle of Support member draws on a depth of knowledge and experience to encircle Losstenders with wisdom and care, from any of a range of cultural, spiritual, or therapeutic backgrounds.

    Guide: Share & demonstrate your own creative & embodied healing practices & knowledge with the Losstender cohort

    Debrief: Match with 1-2 Losstenders who you will check in with regularly from mid-July-Sept, offering ways to process experience

    Mentor: Help Losstenders reframe challenges, develop self-awareness, try new approaches, feel confident to reach out and hold space for others

    Celebrate & connect: Join us for events designed to build relationships across our network and prompt public witnessing of grief & loss work

    ~24 hours for our immersive onboarding retreat

    End July - Sept:

    ~1-3 hrs/wk

  • A great space of mutual exchange, growth, and ambition to test non-clinical, community-building responses to grief and loss.

    1. Receptivity: Connect with people who are eager to learn from you

    2. Experimentation: Be part of a learning space; safely try new things, and grow together

    3. Break down barriers: Soloss encourages & supports the negotiation of authentic, caring relationships

    4. Practice alternatives to talk-based care: ritual design, embodied practices, etc.

    5. Honorarium of up to $600 available to decrease barriers to participation
